Tecnomar is the key name in this collaboration that came to fruition in 2020, commemorating the anniversary of the foundation of Lamborghini and also the first hybrid super sports car that the company had ever produced. 
 
An Italy-based company that specialises in building luxury yachts, Tecnomar was founded in 1987 by Giulio Mazzetta. Their boats are highly renowned for their sleek, modern designs, high performance, and luxurious features. The ‘63’ project was a collaborative project between Tecnomar’s designers and Lamborghini's stylists, using the supercar company’s iconic models, the Sián FKP 37 and Terzo Millennio as inspiration. Like Lamborghini, one of the standout features of Tecnomar products is their use of advanced technology and materials, utilising lightweight parts like carbon-fibre and Kevlar to improve speed and efficiency, while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Tecnomar yachts also feature state-of-the-art navigation and propulsion systems, making them some of the most advanced yachts in the world. 
The Lamborghini 63’ motor yacht is simply a masterpiece of craftsmanship and design, bringing together a perfect blend of speed, comfort, and luxury. Able to accommodate five guests and two crew, the motor yacht was a limited-edition series, with only 63 ever made. The design of the exteriors is a result of the close collaboration between the stylists at Lamborghini and Tecnomar, producing a futuristic boat design. The influence of classic Lamborghini supercars Miura and Countach, is evident in the boat’s hull superstructure. Added to that, Lamborghini's iconic roadster models have given inspiration to the look of the hardtop of the motor yacht.&nbsp;

<h2>Performance</h2> 
The Lamborghini 63 is a powerful beast travelling across the water, clocking up a staggering maximum speed of 60 knots, while it can maintain a comfortable cruising speed of 40 knots. But this motor yacht is not just about speed, but also about range – essential for calculating your journey with a full tank of fuel – with the ‘63’ capable of traversing over 3,000 nautical miles. Even with engines set to ‘dead slow ahead,’ the boat still hits 10 knots, so a delicate touch is recommended. There’s considerable power in the controls, demanding real skill to steer the ‘63’ safely even at a slow speed.

The deck of the Lamborghini 63 breathes glamour and luxury with its look and finish. A nice touch with post-swimming in mind is the very smart carbon fibre shower that can be slotted into the deck. The Lamborghini style of detail can be seen everywhere on the aft deck and its effect is striking. One such feature is the Lamborghini car door handle, which opens the cover to the ice maker and fridge in the deck’s dinette. The designers really did think of everything.

Below deck, the Lamborghini 63 also appears to be much more spacious and practical than expected with further seriously clever design elements. The galley has great levels of practicality with its storage, a fridge, a cooktop, a microwave, and a nice big sink. On the top deck, the detailing is exquisite, with stitched handholds on the staircase, and ingeniously, magnets in the glassware and crockery storage areas. When the yacht is hitting its maximum 60 knots, these magnets make sure everything stays put. As for the bedroom cabins, appropriately, they have the level of luxury you dream of, with the same attention to detail as throughout the rest of the boat.

Three different versions of the Lamborghini 63 were produced. 
The ‘Lounge’ version puts an onus on open space and functionality with a fully equipped galley, a big open area for lounge sofas, and a good-sized wardrobe. And there’s a private bathroom for the owner, giving a luxury hotel feel.&nbsp; The ‘One Cabin’ version maintains the design and style of the lounge version but divides the galley from the bow area, the bow sofa turning into a king-sized bed. Finally, the ‘Two Cabin’ version optimises spaces for the best comfort of the guests. Naturally, the master cabin at the bow maintains super-luxury hotel levels with a king-size bed, while the guest cabin can accommodate up to two children, thanks to the versatility of two separate single beds that can be joined together.

Dotted around the area are seven signature snouts cast in plaster that were installed by artist Rick Buckley in 1997 as a silent protest against growing CCTV surveillance. Over the last two decades, this whole enclave of Central London has also started to plant firm roots as a high-end culinary destination. Historic hotels and townhouses are now home to some of the brightest chefs in the world, creating innovative European cuisine that is attracting notable attention from those famous taste makers at the Michelin Guide.

<h2>Akoko – Fitzrovia</h2>
The chance to experience exquisite traditional West African food and culture in the West End has been the main draw for Akoko since it opened its doors in late 2020. This genuinely does feel like a revelation for the London dining scene and the literal translation, meaning ‘The First’, seems very appropriate. With something this good, others are soon bound to follow.&nbsp; In only two years, the place had already earned its first Michelin star, through the leadership of Head Chef Ayo Adeyemi with his fascinating approach to dishes rooted in the flavours of Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal. Since late last year, Chef Mutaro Balde has taken the reins and Akoko continues to go from strength to strength.
It is the tasting menu here that remains the real star of the show, with Jollof Rice, Waina with Yassa Cream, Otoro with Tatase and Asun with Goat’s curd delivering some real heat and intense, smoky grilled notes. The interior design aligns perfectly with the style on the plates through terracotta walls, clean wooden lines and bespoke furniture like the cattle horn chairs for a touch of theatre too.&nbsp;

<h2>Evelyn’s Table – Soho</h2>
Intimacy and connection are amongst the defining factors that a restaurant is reaching for when it wants to gain serious credibility and renown. It appears that Evelyn’s Table has taken this to the extreme with its ultra-exclusive and limited 12-seat counter covers in a location underneath the famous 300-year-old Blue Posts pub on Rupert Street. This gives diners that chance to witness the artistry and craft on show, led by Head Chef Seamus Sam as he prepares a dinner to remember.
The brief here is to develop dishes with an international influence using only the finest British produce in a sustainable way. As the menu has evolved, one can expect to enjoy some innovative approaches to classics such as Beef Tartare, using Lake District beef in a miso emulsion with wild stinging nettle tempura, all presented on a wasabi leaf. And as the Michelin Star, awarded in 2023, clearly recognises, it works amazingly well.
With an inevitably cosy atmosphere, dictated by the surroundings, the brass accents and subtle lighting pay homage to the history of what was once a beer cellar and is now rated top of any West End restaurant list.

<h2>Ambassadors Clubhouse – Mayfair</h2>
A place of abundance, high spirits and generosity. That is how the tagline goes for this incredibly faithful recreation of the grandeur and opulence once found in historic Punjabi mansions of India and Pakistan. And it delivers on its promise in so many ways. With elements inspired by the Uch Sharif monuments and the Omary Hayat Mahal, the interiors were conceptualised and designed by North End Design to feature a huge gold dome in the main dining space. The additional private dining areas of Tamasha Room and the Raja Rani Room continue this with traditional motifs, bespoke tiling and elegant mirrored ceilings.
It was the Sethi siblings, Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina, who drew inspiration from their Indian Ambassador grandfather to create this now iconic London dining landmark. The signature dishes such as the Mughlai-inspired Guinea Fowl Changezi pay authentic tribute to the flavours of the Punjab with some exciting modern techniques. For those who want to explore this incredible culinary heritage a little further, there is even a Spice Library Menu that allows for a journey across some of the lesser-known ingredients of the region. A truly remarkable restaurant.

<h2>Sael – St James’s</h2>
So much information can be taken from the naming choices of restaurants. They offer useful insight into the influences and aims of the owners and can often highlight the overall intention of what they are trying to achieve. Sael is an Old English word that signifies season, time and occasion. It acts as the perfect mission statement for this beautiful restaurant in St James’s Market, celebrating British heritage through seasonal dishes.
Executive Chef, Dale Bainbridge, has developed a menu that moves beyond the three-course staple to offer both large and small plates such as Marmite Custard Tart with Umai Caviar and their infamous 100-layer Hereford snail and ox cheek lasagna, leading the way for a keen culinary marriage of innovation and tradition. The banquettes, marble tabletops and dark oak panelling evoke a sense of the modern British brasserie, with added influence of 20th-century cultural icons appearing on the walls for further effect. The food critic Giles Coren of The Times has praised this place as “one of London’s great eating rooms,” and it intelligently manages to understand just how much nostalgia is required to dovetail with modern style for a comfortable and unique gastronomic experience.&nbsp;

With origins and influences stretching back to the Phoenicians, through Roman occupation and centuries under Moorish control, there is a tapestry of identities and styles evident around the town to be explored. The Casa Antigou (Old Town) is an enticing maze of cobbled avenues and alleyways full of whitewashed edifices adorned with colour-coded plantings that give each street its individual marker. <h2>Baltazar Bar &amp; Grill</h2>
The Baltazar Bar &amp; Grill is a jewel in the crown of the five-star Kempinski Hotel Bahia, with its spectacular views of the Mediterranean and framed by the silhouette of Gibraltar.&nbsp; The décor is underpinned by an open and inviting elegance of wooden floors and clean lines looking down on the Hotel’s pools and tropical gardens, but there are unmistakable Andalusian accents here too, such as the hand-painted tiles and iron lanterns that contribute to an evening ambiance of calm serenity. As one would expect, there is a lean towards market-fresh seafood and Mediterranean grilling staples such as glazed Iberian pork ribs. However, it is the signature dish of Angus Ossobuco with gold flakes that takes centre stage on most tables here. The remarkable velvety aioli created with extra virgin olive oil from the region is definitely worthy of our recommendation too.

<h2>El Rincón Toscano</h2>
Just a little stroll from the iconic clock tower, along Calle Real, in the Old Town, is El Rincón Toscano, an impeccable slice of Italy on the Andalusian coast. The Tuscan-born owner, Maurizio Baldini has worked hard on making this a local favourite and has entrusted head chef, Federica Rossi, also a Tuscany native, to blend Italian influence with a certain Spanish flair. The menu relies on some fine imports of prosciutto di Parma and finocchiona for the Antipasti Misto with pasta dishes such as the Taglioni al Tartufo – an exquisite ensemble of truffle shavings and butter sauce presenting a particular highlight. As you would expect, the wine list is suitably well curated too, with vintages from Tuscany and Piedmont to accompany some robust main dishes like the show-stopping Bistecca alla Fiorentina, a huge T-bone steak sliced tableside for a little touch of theatre. The exposed brick walls, warm lighting and collection of vintage Italian poster art make for a neat Trattoria style that puts this place amongst Estepona’s elite.

<h2>Restaurante La Escollera</h2>
At the western edge of Puerto Pequero (Estepona’s picturesque fishing port) is a gastronomic tribute to this town’s seafaring heritage and fishing prowess. Restaurante La Escollera is one of those rare treats for the visitor that looks entirely unassuming from the exterior yet provides an unbelievable experience inside. This is where Chef Antonio Navarro oversees a rotating chalkboard menu that is entirely based on the freshest catches of the day. Depending on the bounty beneath the waves, you can expect to see starters such as Dorada, Calamares de Potera (line-caught squid) and even Urta (a prized parrotfish found in the Strait of Gibraltar) all ready to be grilled and prepared with utmost skill. Your meal will often be presented before cooking by way of inspection, and you may be asked how you would like it. Our suggestion here is to opt for La Plancha, a simple grilling tradition with olive oil, garlic and sea salt. This is impeccable and informal dining done extremely well.

<h2>El Palangre</h2>
The Paseo Maritimo is a fabulous promenade along the Estepona seaside that has been delivering a front row view of the Mediterranean for diners for generations. El Palangre here has established itself in the fabric of this fine tradition through its ownership by a collection of local fishermen. Their commitment to the responsibly sourced longline fishing techniques of the area means that the ingredients are as fresh and sustainable as possible. Chef Jose Antonio Delgado certainly makes the most of them too, collaborating with the daily fish markets to provide simple signature starters such as Boquerones en Vinagre, fresh anchovies marinated in white wine and vinegar paired with sliced garlic and parsley.&nbsp;
The terrace at El Palangre may be a little too breezy for some diners, but the indoor seating is a great example of a warm, coastal lodge with crisp white linens and blue accents, all bathed in natural light. The emerging local viticulture hotspot of nearby Ronda is also celebrated on the wine list as a natural accompaniment to this seafood haven.

Rustic charm and contemporary polish combine here with original tiles lining the floor and lower walls and sleek overhead lighting above acting as the most striking example of this cohesion. Through a semi-open kitchen, you can catch a glimpse of Head Chef Juan Miguel Sánchez, the grandson of the founder, busily putting together specialities such as Arroz Caldoso con Bogavante (lobster rice stew) and servings of Jamón Ibérico sourced from select producers in Jabugo, renowned for their acorn-fed Iberian pigs to produce a smooth nutty flavour. Andalusian white wines and sherries make up a unique wine list that is similarly dedicated to local knowledge and expertise to make a meal at Taberna Miguel unlike anything else the area has to offer.

Those fortunate enough to have tasted the 1926 have described it as an exquisite mix of dried fruit, dark chocolate and figs with subtle notes of tobacco and sweet oak, a balanced and legendary taste to be coveted by every whisky aficionado. This iconic drink also holds several auction records, with bottles regularly commanding £1.5 million each. Add in some fantastic labels created by artists such as Sir Peter Blake and Valerio Adami, and you can begin to appreciate exactly why this is the most desirable dram you may ever lay your hands on.

<h2>Dalmore 62&nbsp;</h2>
The Dalmore Distillery crouches on the banks of the Cromarty Firth in Allens, a truly breathtaking part of the northern Scottish Highlands. It holds a prestige in the whisky world that is difficult to match with its benchmark for outstanding sophistication and craftsmanship for every drop in every bottle. The Dalmore 62 stands as a testament to the history of this distillery, blending from their select single malt casks that date back to 1868, 1878, 1926 and 1939 to produce only 12 crystal decanters that are all hand-crafted and individually numbered. Elements of espresso, orange zest and vanilla work in tandem to achieve a smooth balance of flavour harmony in the Dalmore 62, with a lingering finish that whisky lovers have often referred to as graceful. The price at auction today will easily climb to around the £250,000 mark as an indication of how coveted this drink is. The Dalmore 62 works as a piece of history, a work of art and a genuine collector’s item revered all over the world.

The peated flavour profiles and briny maritime taste influence of the Islay region is embodied in the wonderful Bowmore Distillery found on the shores of Loch Indaal. The Bowmore 1957 represents this unique location perfectly, with just 12 bottles of the drink ever produced in hand-blown glass decanters designed to mimic the crashing waves of the Atlantic against the rugged island coastline. Although the peat smoke Islay taste is undeniable, there is a delicate and surprisingly gentle layered aspect to the Bowmore 1957 with honeyed figs, mango and a definite sea salt zing all expressed on a journey towards the long and memorable finish. Aged at 54 years before bottling, it remains one of the oldest Bowmore has ever produced and, as you would expect, the market scarcity can mean prices north of £350,000 have been achieved. An island icon in the Scotch whisky world, without doubt.

It may come as a surprise to the casual whisky drinker, or collector, to see Glenfiddich appear on any of these prestige lists. To many, it represents the entry level drams that make up average bar menus without the sophistication and status of some other scotch titans. However, the Glenfiddich 1937 Rare Collection stands with any of the greatest scotch whiskies ever produced and is a testament to the enduring methods and appeal of this Speyside distillery that is often cited as integral to whisky’s popularity.
Distilled almost 90 years ago in 1937, this was laid in the now legendary Cask Number 843, a single oak barrel, and aged for 64 years, surviving two world wars and a whole host of global events that changed history before it was finally bottled in 2001. Over this time, the vast majority of the spirit evaporated, as a fine example of what is known today as The Angel’s Share, leaving behind only 61 bottles.
If you are lucky enough to find this in your glass, you can expect some complex layers of antique oak tinged with sherry and molasses, evoking polished leather and warming tobacco notes. Rounded and refined, there is a story here in every sip written by not only the ingredients but the Glenfiddich Malt Masters that would taste it over those 64 years until they thought the time was right to release it into the world. With very few unopened bottles remaining, the price tag is well set to reach&nbsp; £100,000 and above as its own saga continues well into this century.
