This summer, British designer Hannah Martin takes centre stage at Sotheby’s Salon in Mayfair, where her work will be showcased until 5 September. Known for her sculptural forms, rebellious character and pieces that seem to carry their own pulse, Martin brings a vivid, unapologetic energy to one of London’s most distinguished cultural spaces.

Her jewellery is not made to quietly decorate. It is designed to command attention, to spark conversation, and to be worn as a statement of self. Influences come from all directions; the clean, balanced lines of Constantin Brâncuși, the playful surrealism of Man Ray, and the bold, erotic imagery of Tom of Finland. These references are not simply aesthetic choices but part of a deeper narrative of emotion, self-expression and transformation.
Martin’s path to this moment was anything but conventional. At Central Saint Martins, she immersed herself in the creative pulse of the college, exploring its wealth of artistic and musical influences. After graduating, she moved to Paris to apprentice in Cartier’s ateliers on Place Vendôme. This was a formative period, not only refining her technical skill but also shaping her understanding of high jewellery traditions. Winning the Cartier Award opened doors to commissions for Louis Vuitton and Chaumet, where she worked on complete high jewellery collections for legacy brands with global recognition.
In 2006, Martin returned to London to found her own brand. It was a decisive step that allowed her to push boundaries in design, in storytelling, and in the very concept of what luxury jewellery could mean.

From her debut collection in 2005, Martin’s work has challenged the traditional divisions of the jewellery world. She questioned why jewellery should be so sharply divided along gender lines, and instead created pieces that are bold, androgynous and sculptural, designed for anyone to wear. Her philosophy is underpinned by a belief in the importance of creativity as a human necessity. “Although luxury jewellery isn’t about to save the world,” she explains, “creative output in any form is essential to our survival as humans.” She describes her designs as “oozing with life… real, human, messy and beautiful and full of life.”

Among the highlights is A Vanitas, her collaboration with Guy Berryman, bassist of Coldplay and founder of the fashion label Applied Art Forms. Inspired by 17th-century Dutch Vanitas paintings, the collection takes symbols of mortality and transience and reimagines them for the present day. Razorblade motifs and hand-carved pearl skulls speak to fragility and impermanence, but with a sense of strength in their design.
Also featured is The Perfect Drug, Martin’s tenth collection, created as a direct response to the overstimulation of the digital era. These pieces revel in physical presence and emotional honesty, embracing both pleasure and pain. They are not jewels for decoration alone – they are tactile, intimate objects that invite the wearer to connect with their own story.
The showcase also includes the Ring of Fire from White Heat, rich emerald-set designs from Delirium, and pieces from Somebody’s Sins, Aguila Dorada and It’s Only Rock ’n’ Roll. Each collection has its own distinct voice, yet all carry Martin’s unmistakable touch. The golden shackle bangle from Aguila Dorada, for example, hints at restraint but is, in Martin’s words, “a bid for freedom.”

The Daytona SP3 '599+1' commands attention with its striking two-tone facade, where Ferrari's iconic Giallo Modena yellow contrasts dramatically against exposed black carbon fibre. This marks a historic first – it was the inaugural road car from the marque featuring the full-length 'Ferrari' livery spanning the entire chassis from nose to tail, ensuring that it impresses from the very outset. Yet, there is much more to this impressive model beyond its captivating exterior.
Launched in 2021, the Daytona SP3 was the crown jewel of Ferrari's Icona Series, an exclusive collection of bespoke automobiles crafted for the brand’s most devoted clients. Each model in this limited series reimagines Ferrari's most celebrated classic models, uplifting them with contemporary design finesse and cutting-edge technology. True to its namesake, the Daytona SP3 pays tribute to the racing models of the 1960s that swept Ferrari to victory at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona.
Ferrari's production run was limited to just 599 examples, all of which were claimed by collectors before the first car entered production. An additional model was produced, with the fitting serial number ‘599+1’ and bespoke specifications developed by the Ferrari Tailor Made division. This marvel showcases its distinctive colour palette and striking full-length livery, complemented by innovative Q-cycle upholstery crafted from recycled tyres. A naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 delivers 829 horsepower, which, paired with the car's refined aerodynamic design, takes it from 0 to 200 km/h in a staggering 7.4 seconds.
&nbsp;'599+1' offers its buyer an incredibly rare opportunity: obtaining the only available example from the sold-out Icona Series while also supporting a worthy cause. All sale proceeds will be donated to the Ferrari Foundation to fund educational initiatives.

The LaFerrari Aperta is an innovative take on the iconic LaFerrari coupe, featuring an open top and the groundbreaking KERS hybrid system. It made its debut in 2013, casting a shadow over rivals like the Bugatti Veyron with its 6.3-litre V12 powerhouse that produced an incredible 949 horsepower.
A mere three years after its grand entry to the market, its production came to a halt at 499 units. Every single LaFerrari Aperta was snapped up and stowed away in the collection of a long-time Ferrari buyer. However, to commemorate its 70th anniversary, Ferrari announced a welcome surprise by recreating the cherished La Ferrari Aperta – more exclusive and even more impressive. Limited to just 210 models, this Aperta was re-engineered from its closed-top predecessor to maintain the rigidity of its chassis without a roof and was souped up to deliver 963 horsepower.
The consigned Aperta is apparently among the last units built, armed with over $113,000 worth of extras alongside its standard equipment. Clad in Nero Daytona paint and Nero interiors, Rosso accents uplift its elegant form. The car has been sparsely used and has been immaculately maintained, thanks to regular service by authorised Ferrari dealerships.

Behind closed doors in 2010, Ferrari was crafting what would become a hypercar game-changer. The project, bearing the intriguing internal codename 'F150', underwent rigorous virtual design work and prototype simulations. Years later, this secret development would be unveiled as the LaFerrari, stunning the automotive world upon its debut. However, sharp-eyed observers around Maranello might have caught fleeting glimpses of heavily disguised prototypes — machines strikingly similar to this extraordinary offering.
The Prototype M4, commonly known as the ‘F150 Muletto M4’, was built on the chassis popularised by the 458 Italia. It was modified to accommodate a hybrid V-12, but it was the naturally aspirated engine that shouldered the majority of the work in delivering a staggering 949 horsepower.&nbsp;
The interior remained largely faithful to the 458's layout, featuring only subtle additions that hinted at its future development. However, the exterior was unabashedly experimental, adorning exposed rivets, a gaping front air intake, a bold matte black finish, and distinctive patchwork details.
As the LaFerrari transitioned to production, Ferrari made these invaluable prototypes available only to loyal clients, stipulating they would remain track-only specimens. Though destined never to traverse public roads, this M4 represents something far more significant – standing as a museum-calibre artefact and an irreplaceable fragment of automotive history.

This custom two-toned marvel was one of just five 612 cars commissioned by Ferrari in the United States as a statement of the Carrozzeria Scaglietti’s extraordinary capabilities. All five ‘bicolore’ models boasted distinctive palettes, evincing the spectrum of personalisation possibilities Ferrari offered its most valued customers.&nbsp;
The cosigned vehicle was the third unit in this exclusive cohort, first introduced at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show. Sporting a Rubino Micalizzato and Nero Daytona exterior, the interiors featured Cioccolato and beige leather alongside myriad bespoke elements. The car was promoted with great fanfare, though things took an unexpected turn after the auto show.
The car's owner, a prominent Detroit businessman, became embroiled in a corruption investigation that resulted in the vehicle's seizure by federal authorities. It was subsequently sold at a government auction, where it was viewed as a mere confiscated vehicle rather than a true automotive treasure.
The Bicolore Detroit's true significance remained hidden until 2022, when an automotive historian recognised its rarity and acquired the vehicle. He undertook an extensive restoration and servicing project, which also included cosmetic refinement.&nbsp;
A stunning Cioccolato leather 612 suitcase and an original 2006 Detroit Auto Show press kit are also on offer along with this magnificent vehicle, completing the picture that speaks to Ferrari’s early customisation history.

London's prime property market has been reeling from shifting economic policies and government transitions in major countries, including the United States. However, these disruptions have not been as severe as expected, and our numbers reveal renewed confidence in the super-prime market and its offerings. 
The main shocks to the housing market came from the abolition of the generous non-dom provisions, whereby non-domiciled residents in Britain were not taxed on their wealth abroad. At present, as of April 2025, non-dom citizens are liable to pay UK tax on all their worldwide income and gains. Notwithstanding the concessions employed to ease this transition, the policy shift was expected to further destabilise an already volatile market. Further, the increased stamp duty rates – with an additional 2% surcharge for foreign buyers – amplified the overall tax burden on the market’s key demographic.

Gunther Werks, a California-based business, is a renowned specialist in Porsche customisation – specifically, the Porsche 911. However, it is much more than an artistic pursuit. Gunther Werks sees their craft as a continuation of Porsche’s legacy, picking up where the marque left off in 1998 when they axed the air-cooled 993-generation of the 911 model. Each model is a custom version of what the 993 would look like if it were still being built today.&nbsp; 
The redesign process for the 911 Speedster involved extensive use of carbon fibre, integrated throughout the chassis and expressed through bespoke bodywork. The final convertible body is, as per Gunther Werks, doubly as stiff as a coupe in spite of not having a roof. This added rigidity, paired with its lighter build, is said to deliver performance that supersedes its fixed-roof variant. 
A new and improved suspension system includes computer-controlled active suspension, custom-made suspension arms, anti-roll bars, lighter struts, and a hydraulic front lift system that’s ahead of its time.&nbsp; 
Engine work was entrusted to Rothsport Road and Race, an Oregon-based specialist in air-cooled 911s. The original naturally aspirated 3.6-litre engine was replaced with a more powerful 4.0-litre block. Every component was upgraded and refitted, resulting in an output of over 430 horsepower. Finished beautifully in Tungsten Metallic paint, the dual-toned interior is clad in luxurious Brandy and Onyx Nappa leather. The vehicle also has the optional Travel Package that includes a steering wheel made of carbon fibre and a carbon centre console. 
Just 25 examples of the Speedster were built, and this is one of the very few right-hand drive models, originally configured for a Hong Kong buyer. It is road-registered with all taxes paid locally, yet has only ever been driven for testing purposes. With all Gunther Werks Speedsters now sold, this example stands as a rare opportunity to acquire a truly singular piece.

Zagato needs no introduction for any supercar aficionado, having produced some of the most exquisite vehicles in the past century. The 2009 GTZ Nibbio, commissioned in 2013, is the eighth out of only nine GTZ Nibbios ever produced. 
Zagato sought out a donor car that would serve as the skeleton for the build, with prior approval of the consignor. The final selection was a pristine example, both mechanically and physically, with fewer than 25,000 kilometres on the clock. 
The car was completely stripped to prepare its transformation into the Nibbio. Marella Zagato, wife of CEO Andrea Zagato, chose a striking silver shade for the facade. The interior, a sharp, contrasting red, was fully retrimmed. The Nibbio incorporates several of Zagato’s signature touches, including a double bubble roof and a tapered rear section. Its bodywork echoes design cues from the 550 and 575 GTZ models, which also showcased similar carbon fibre detailing. 
A 6-litre V12 engine bursts into action with 613 horsepower and a maximum speed of 330 km/h, managed by an automated gearbox modelled after the ones found in F1 racers. Cutting-edge braking, damper, and traction control systems ensure that the Nibbio’s road performance is tightly controlled. 
Since completion, the car has covered just 200 kilometres and remains in impeccable condition. Zagato carried out a comprehensive inspection in 2020, with the full report on file. The GTZ Nibbio stands as a benchmark of 21st-century coachbuilding, an essential for discerning collectors.

Over a period of three and a half months, the car was completely reimagined, showcasing a futuristic edge. Ergonomics were a significant consideration during the process to ensure that the Nuccio’s aesthetics and performance didn’t come at the expense of comfort.&nbsp; 
A 4.3-litre V8 engine is at the heart of the car’s operation, along with a six-speed automated gearbox by Graziano and F1-style paddle shifters. Bertone also introduced a patented lighting feature — a section of the headlight emits a blue glow while braking, designed to alert pedestrians ahead. 
The Nuccio made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, followed later that year by a separately produced production version at the Beijing Auto Show. It also appeared at the Concorso Italiano in the United States, marking its introduction to the American market. 
Unfortunately, financial difficulties would ultimately lead to Bertone’s closure in 2015, leaving the Nuccio abandoned in storage. The brand would be revived in 2022 under new ownership, but it was already too late for the Nuccio, which was sold off at auction in 2018 along with several other Bertone assets. At that point, it was acquired by its first and only owner, remaining quietly within a private collection ever since. 
The Nuccio has recorded just over 29,000 km, most of which was accrued by the original car prior to its conversion. It is a singular work of automotive craftsmanship; it holds a unique place in history as a 21st-century masterpiece from one of the great coachbuilding names.

After sealing the deal in Riyadh, the two parties are launching the Knightsbridge outpost in June, bridging the Saudi Arabian and Prime Central London markets.
