Le Monde sur Mesure: $1.5 million

Morreale Paris’s signature luxury scent is grandeur defined. It comes in a custom gold encrusted bottle, which can take over a year to make. This perfume is so exclusive, it is tailored to meet every client’s whim. For instance, the creative director Maxime Rancon shared that they are working with an unidentified party to create a diamond and ruby studded bottle which would be worth $10 million.
 
The finished product is flown in a private jet with security detail. A complimentary 18-carat gold bracelet is also thrown in with the perfume. While the bottle is the star of the show, the perfume itself is meticulously curated. It is a mixture of basil, lavender, lime, rosemary, cinnamon, Madagascar cloves, jasmine, Australian sandalwood, vanilla and vetiver among other ingredients.
 
 
 
 
 

Shumukh by Nabeel: $1.29 million

‘Shumukh’ by Nabeel is brimming with sheer opulence. After all, it was created as a tribute to Dubai, a city known for its startling beauty and architectural marvels. ‘Shumukh’, an Arabic word, translates to “deserving the highest'' – this perfume lives up to its name. The 3-litre bottle is adorned with key elements that symbolise Dubai – pearling, falconry, luxury, Arabian hospitality and Dubai’s futuristic vision– through intricate ornamentation using 3,571 diamonds, 1.4 grams of pure gold, 5.8 grams of pure silver, topaz and pearls.
 
The perfume is formulated with Indian agarwood, sandalwood, patchouli, incense, ylang-ylang, Turkish rose and amber notes. The makers claimed that it took three years of research and 494 tests to perfect the scent, which lasts on the skin for 12+ hours.
 
 
 
 
 

Golden Delicious by DKNY (special edition): $1 million

DKNY’s special edition version of the best-selling perfume ‘Golden Delicious’, took the “golden” to new heights. The bottle is studded with 2,009 precious stones by designer Martin Katz. Its signature gold orb bottle is embellished with thousands of precious gems. This luxury revamp was an effort to raise money for ‘Action Against Hunger’, a humanitarian organisation.
 
Its key notes include orange flower, mirabelle plum and apple. It also has floral notes of Casablanca lily and lily-of-the-valley.
 
 
 
 
 

Opera Prima by Bulgari: $235,000

A lovechild of two Italian artists Bvlgari and Venini, the Opera Prima was created to celebrate Bvlgari’s 130th anniversary. The bottle is reminiscent of an ancient spice-holding Roman amphora, adorned with 250-carats of citrine, 25-carats of diamond and 4.45-carats of amethyst which are all set in yellow gold. No. 1 Majesté impériale by Clive Christian Perfume: $215,000

This limited edition line in 2006 was created by Clive Christian to celebrate his famous absolute perfume oil. He envisioned creating something out of the world, and he certainly delivered. Teaming with master glass blowers of Baccarat, a crystal bottle with 18-carat gold collar cradling a 5-carat diamond was made to hold this signature perfume. The scent has notes of vanilla. Musk, bergamot, Sicilian mandarin, ylang-ylang and honeyed neroli. This limited edition line only released 10 bottles. Seven were bought by unidentified collectors.

It is enclosed in a gorgeous Noe Duchafour-Lawrence case with a golden lever.
