London Design Week 2026: Your Exclusive Guide

Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, unveiled the capital's most anticipated interior design event of the spring season: London Design Week. Curated to spark inspiration and conversation, the event drew London's leading creatives, interior designers, and architects across five days of programming.

Taking place from 9 to 13 March 2026, the programme brought together more than 135 showrooms and 30+ pop-up House Guests, alongside talks by industry experts and immersive workshops charting the latest directions in interiors and decor. A kaleidoscope of fresh palettes, inventive materials, and unexpected textures animated the Design Centre's spaces, with over 100 events held under one roof. Gourmet food and drink venues rounded out the offer, making the 2026 edition as convivial as it was creatively rigorous. Showrooms and events ran daily from approximately 10:00 AM to early evening.

 

 

Showroom Highlights & Collection Reveals

Major international houses and boutique ateliers rarely seen outside their home markets presented their latest releases across furniture, lighting, textiles, and surface design. Standout showcases included:

1. Ralph Lauren Home unveiled ‘Meadow Lane

A Celebration of the Spring’ Collection on Wednesday 11 March, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM. This collection celebrated coastal living with casual elegance and timeless romance, capturing the essence of a charming home by the sea, while guests enjoyed the collection alongside freshly brewed Ralph’s Coffee.

 

2. Country & Town House hosted ‘Shop with Me

The Joy of the Collective’, led by interiors editor Carole Annett on Monday 9 March, 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM. Attendees discovered carefully curated pieces and hidden marvels, learning the stories behind their creation, guided by Annett’s editorial eye for standout design.

 

3.  The Bloomsbury Revisited Collection was showcased on Tuesday 10 March, 1:45 PM – 2:45 PM

Revealing a rich selection of lampshades and wallpapers. Designer Jane McCall demonstrated the creative process live, painting designs for visitors, allowing a direct view into the artistry behind the collection.

 

Talks & Panels: Heritage, Craft and Contemporary Design

The week's conversation programme explored the themes and emerging sensibilities shaping contemporary interiors. Among the standout sessions:

1. Heritage, Craft and Conversation - Tuesday 10 March, 12:30–1:00 PM

Moderated by Carole Annett, this session examined Indian craftsmanship, sustainability, and Obeetee's arrival to the UK market. Angelique Dhama, President of Obeetee, spoke to the brand's enduring relevance across British and global design, tracing the intersection of craft, culture, and contemporary interiors.

 

2. From Jaipur to the English Home: The Enduring Art of Block Print - Tuesday 10 March, 12:30–1:00 PM

The English Home editor Alison Davidson and Pukka Print founder Jools Cornell led attendees through the world of pattern and provenance, exploring hand block printing and its influence on modern interiors. The session concluded with a styling masterclass using Pukka Print's new Bagh collection.

 

3. The Art of Layering: Building Character Through Colour and Craft - Tuesday 10 March, 1:00–2:00 PM

Moderated by Livingetc executive editor Pip Rich, the panel brought together interior designers Polly Ashman and Lucy Barlow alongside Coat Paints :founder Rob Abrahams, examining how colour, texture, and craft shape the character of interior spaces. This interactive session explored the artistry of British heritage wallcoverings, demonstrating professional layering and paint techniques applied to deeply embossed Lincrusta surfaces. Attendees left with a personally customised sample and a clearer sense of how the material can elevate an architectural space.

 

2. A Modern Print Workshop With PJ - Tuesday 10 March, 2:30–3:25 PM

Phillip Jeffries hosted a hands-on print block workshop celebrating the new Drama collection. Limited to 20 participants, the session guided attendees through pattern, texture, and process via direct printmaking practice.

 

3. The Art of Delft: A Hands-On Tile Painting Workshop - Wednesday 11 March, 11:00 AM–12:30 PM

To mark the launch of the London collection, resident artist Aaron Hammond guided attendees through Delft tile painting, with a focus on pattern, colour, and technique. The session concluded with drinks, light refreshments, and informal networking.
