CUT at 45 Park Lane
Mayfair
This incredible boutique hotel in Mayfair was originally designed in the 1960s by the inspirational modernist architect and founder of the Bauhaus school, Walter Groupious. It has been through several incarnations since then, including a time as the London branch of the Playboy Club, before becoming part of the Dorchester Collection in 2011.
CUT at 45 Park Lane is the first European restaurant by Wolfgang Puck, one of the most charismatic and influential chefs working on the international culinary scene. His fusion of French methodology with a touch of Californian innovation and heart from his Austrian home redefined fine dining in America. Since moving there in 1973, he has earned two Michelin stars and the ultimate accolade of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
For Thanksgiving in 2025, the Executive Chef at CUT, Elliot Grover, has curated a wonderful celebration of the Thanksgiving menu using locally sourced products and ingredients. It is available for lunch and dinner sittings with highlights set to include roasted Heritage pumpkin soup, Norfolk Bronze turkey with cornbread stuffing and pecan pie. This is modern culinary flair for an American tradition, all within the distinctly London location overlooking Hyde Park.
Twenty8 Nomad
Covent Garden
Twenty8 Nomad is the signature eating spot inside the luxury boutique NoMad Hotel in Covent Garden. It was carefully designed to act as a homage to the building’s Bow Street history with a clear focus on the aesthetics and delivery of contemporary New York fine dining. As a result, it feels delightfully modern and biophilic with layered textures and greenery delivering a palm court atmosphere.
Executive Chef Zak Gregoire and Culinary Director Bryce Shuman are bringing a Thanksgiving feast to Twenty8 Nomad this year that promises to deliver hearty dishes straight from the New York cook books to Covent Garden. Walsgrove Farm’s roasted turkey will of course be the start of the show with green-bean cassoulet, cranberry bread and pomme puree providing the necessary stylish sides. There is even a limited Give Thanks package that includes an overnight stay at the hotel to make the most of this central London neighbourhood after pie has been served. This is luxury in a lively way and definitely one to consider for larger groups that would like to celebrate together. For any transatlantic visitors to London over the period of late November, Twenty8Nomand could be a home away from home to enjoy.
Claridge’s Restaurant x Dante
If one was looking for the perfect collaboration between the finest restaurant spaces of London and the inimitable style of New York cocktail glamour for Thanksgiving, then this would be it. It brings downtown Manhattan all the way to Mayfair for a limited time that includes the Thanksgiving period of celebration. What was once an Italian café in Greenwich Village evolved into the world’s best bar and now it has taken residence in the prestigious surroundings of Claridge’s hotel, where class is always assured.
Dante’s Cranberry Spritz and Tiramisu Eggnog are on show as exquisite aperitifs that act as the curtain raiser for this limited edition menu. Once again, the traditional oven-roasted Norfolk turkey is the centrepiece for mains with apricot-stuffed leg, agave-glazed ham and apple mostarda. And it simply would not be New York-themed without a cheesecake making an appearance, so the Pumpkin Cheesecake with crème fraiche and toasted pumpkin seeds represents the Big Apple in sweet style too. The entire collaboration is set to finish at the start of 2026 and with the Thanksgiving menu strictly limited to the 27th of November, this could be the most exclusive booking of the autumn season anywhere in the capital.
