Harrods Café

Harrods Café occupies both the Lower Ground Floor and the Third Floor of the iconic Harrods department store. Inside, the café mirrors the venue’s aesthetic with a high-end finish that reflects the luxury of the surroundings. Historically, Harrods has been a retail landmark since its current building was completed in the early 20th century. Whilst the café itself is a later addition aligned with the food-hall expansion, it inherits the weight of Harrods’ legacy as a premier destination.

Menu items at Harrods Café include over ten options of freshly baked cakes, and juices made from seasonal fruit and vegetables. Standout dishes include the croque-monsieur, superfood salad, and the signature brioche-waffle hybrid, The Braffle. For guests seeking the traditional touch, scones are served with clotted cream and jam, and their Afternoon Tea is accompanied by a Harrods Cafe sundae. Harrods Café is not a boutique hideaway, but rather part of a grand institution offering the convenience of a café within one of London’s most famous stores.

Feya Knightsbridge

Just steps away from Harrods, Feya’s Knightsbridge café is the second location opened by Chef Zahra Khan. A graduate of Gordon Ramsay’s culinary academy, Zahra brings a distinctive philosophy to Knightsbridge, being that food and art should merge. Feya is also backed by a social mission: 10 % of retail profits support women’s empowerment, and the brand actively pursues sustainability, diversity and zero-waste goals. Inside, the café has been described as an ‘enchanted forest’, with tropical branding and decorative touches such as birdcages and large leaves.

Feya’s menu reflects its chef’s vision. Dishes include wild mushroom quiche, coronation chicken brioche, and smoked salmon blinis.  Amongst drinks and sweet offerings, there are pastel-coloured lattes, avocado toast, decorative pancakes and an array of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free options and alternative milk choices. The café is often described as “Instagrammable,” but the point is not vanity, it’s about creating a space in which guests feel seen, welcomed, and inspired. Feya’s luxury status is not solely derived from quality or prestige, but from the curation of purpose-driven food, design, mission and experience.

Walton Café

Found between South Kensington and Knightsbridge, Walton Café combines aristocratic flair with easy access to the area’s high-end shops. The café stands out on Walton Street with its bold blue exterior, floral details and inviting outdoor seating area. Inside, there is a bar, brightly coloured seating, and groups can make use of the Walton private dining room, a practical space for celebrations, work dinners, or small events.

The Pinsa Romana is the stand-out on Walton Café’s menu. With two decades of expertise, dough master Enzo presents his version of Italy’s artisanal flatbread. The dough is made with a specially blended mix of flours with no additives and fermented over an extended period, making it a healthier alternative to traditional pizza. Tomato sauce, mozzarella and Nduja top the Salami Picante, whilst seasonal mixed vegetables top the vegan options.  Walton Café delivers the elegance of a high-end destination, whilst maintaining the warmth of a café, making it a highlight of Knightsbridge’s luxury café scene.

The Berkeley Café

Inside the stately Berkeley Hotel on Wilton Place, The Berkeley Café is part of an establishment with deep roots. The Berkeley began in the 1700s as a coffee house on the corner of Berkeley Street and Piccadilly, and later evolved into a hotel in 1897.  It then relocated in 1972 to its current Knightsbridge site under architect Brian O’Rorke, and more recently, interior designer Rémi Tessier brought his signature French style to the café’s interiors.

The menu follows suit with its French offerings. Breakfast includes a waffle flower viennoiserie or French toast with Vanilla Chantilly and Caramel Sauce, plus freshly baked croissants alongside coffees and juices.  The all-day menu offers starters such as yellowfin tuna tartare, and high on the menu is Cedric Grolet’s patisserie counter, where desserts are treated as edible art, and afternoon tea blends savoury snacks with miniature cakes. The Berkeley Café delivers the kind of service and quality expected in a five-star setting, and supports the hotel’s heritage whilst offering best in-class coffee.

Voyage Lounge

Voyage Lounge, a fresh arrival and part of a brand expansion, is located on Knightsbridge’s Brompton Road. Voyage first built its reputation in Dubai, where its Fashion Avenue space in The Dubai Mall earned attention for pairing speciality coffee with meticulous design. The Knightsbridge establishment closely mirrors the design language of its original location with clay and terracotta tones and relaxed-style seating. Voyage also isn’t shy about spectacle. A Bugatti Chiron is on display inside, blurring the line between café and showroom.

At the heart of the space sits a brew bar anchored by a Kees van der Westen espresso machine, and there is a strong line of speciality drinks, including tiramisu lattes, Greek freddos, and white chocolate matchas, available hot or iced. Desserts are where the café truly leans into its luxury positioning. Classics such as the Basque cheesecake share a space with Middle Eastern favourites like basboussa and a deconstructed Um Ali. The signature Voyage Pudding and Mango Signature highlight the brand’s interest in presentation as much as flavour, with dishes designed to be remembered and photographed. For Londoners, the café is a welcomed fresh arrival to Knightsbridge, and for travellers who know Voyage from Dubai, it is a continuation of a concept that already feels global.

Across Knightbridge, one will find numerous interpretations of what luxury in a café can mean. For some, it is history, with connections to London institutions that have evolved over centuries. For others, it is about innovation, with international ideas brought to a London setting. What links each of them is a shared commitment to quality, from the way a pastry is presented to how a coffee is brewed.
