Bubbles & Brunch by the Common - Clapham’s Best Bottomless Brunches

Clapham might not have invented bottomless brunch, but over the past couple of years, it has certainly perfected it. From cosy neighbourhood cafés to high-energy spots with something stronger in the jug, this pocket of southwest London has more than a few ways to turn a weekend morning into a celebration. Whether it’s prosecco and pancakes or flat whites and full plates, the mood here leans laid-back, generous, and just the right side of indulgent. Here, we spotlight five of the best brunches to know in Clapham.

No. 32 The Old Town

No. 32 The Old Town’s bottomless brunch is indulgent without tipping into excess. The two-course format lets diners steer the mood, switching between lighter and heavier plates without overcommitting. Drinks can be ordered by the bottle or by the bucket, depending on the occasion – a tempting way to keep things lively while keeping the food relaxed.

The space is trendy but easygoing, with monochrome interiors, soft natural light, and views across the Common that help set the pace. On warmer days, the upstairs terrace comes into its own – a prime perch for people-watching with a prosecco in hand. Popular at any time of day, No. 32 is especially well-suited to weekend brunches with a group, though booking ahead is wise as it’s often busy.

Botanica Hall

Bottomless brunch at Botanica leans fully Italian, with a menu built around creative takes on pasta, risotto, and gnocchi – a more wholesome route for those skipping the light pancakes. Sides come in shareable portions, and toasted sourdough accompanies many dishes, along with a solid range of vegan and vegetarian options for the more conscious eater.

Based at Clapham Junction, Botanica is one of the area’s most glamorous brunch spots: all high ceilings, lush potted greenery, and a glasshouse feel softened by wicker furniture and organic tones. It’s a popular pick among locals for good reason – especially for those after a bottomless brunch that’s a little lighter on the palate than its neighbours, without compromising on atmosphere.

Soul Lounge

Bringing a fusion of Mediterranean and Pan-Asian flavours to Clapham High Street, Soul Lounge adds a bold, music-led twist to the bottomless brunch scene. A soundtrack of 90s hip hop and Afrobeats sets the tone, while bottles of fizz and indulgent cocktails – each with a playful spin – build the mood for an afternoon feast of seismic proportions.

Dishes range from sharing-style sushi platters to mezze boards and other party-ready plates that suit both decadent eaters and big groups alike, fitting its moniker perfectly. The space is dim and atmospheric, with neon lighting and sleek black interiors that feel more like a weekend night out – but that’s exactly the charm. If you’re planning to hit the town later, this is the place to start: a hearty warm-up with just the right amount of pomp.

Megan’s Old Town

Megan’s Old Town is a Clapham staple. The food draws on Eastern Mediterranean flavours – from Turkish eggs and open flatbreads to shakshouka baked eggs – alongside brunch classics like smashed avocado toast, pancakes, and other comforting staples. From quince Bellinis to breakfast martinis, the bar team knows their clientele well and always seem to have just the thing to wash down a fully-loaded dining experience.

With its lush interior and showstopping centrepiece tree, Megan’s strikes a balance between polished and breezy – a relaxed space ideal for early weekend brunches. Its location, just off the Common and close to Northcote Road’s boutique parade, makes it a perfect launch point for a day of Clapham wandering, ideally fuelled by a very hearty meal. For newcomers – this is one of those spots that books out fast, so a reservation is strongly recommended.

The Little Orange Door

The Little Orange Door is, without doubt, one of Clapham’s most fun-loving brunch spots. A well-reputed landmark of the local nightlife scene, it’s known just as well for its signature cocktails as its playful, disco-themed interiors. Styled to feel like a friend’s apartment, the space is filled with retro touches – from board games and mismatched crockery to a pastel SMEG fridge in the corner – with each room carrying its own distinct energy.

The bottomless brunch encourages free-flowing prosecco, rosé, Aperol spritzes and rum punch, paired with comfort food that may well require another notch being undone on the belt. The likes of poached eggs with avocado and chilli, crumpets with cheesy chorizo beans, or a hearty breakfast burger all grace the menu here. Brunch here really does feel like sitting down with a group of friends at home – quirky crockery choices and all.

The Thieves

A beloved local landmark with a famously rowdy streak, The Four Thieves will be back this November – re-opening as the newly reborn The Thieves, with more chaos, character, and cocktails than ever before. Formerly home to Clapham’s wildest drag brunches, the venue has undergone a major revamp, returning as an adults-only funland that’s part pub and part party palace. Expanded seating boosts the capacity for mischief, with a packed monthly calendar of themed brunches, from ABBA and Fleetwood Mac to Taylor Swift tributes, interactive game shows, and – most likely – bottomless brunch. The drinks here flow freely, the food is served generously, and the all-new upstairs arcade adds an extra hit of nostalgia to the madness. If you’re after a quiet pint, this isn’t it. If you’re after Clapham’s most outrageous night (or day) out, then head to The Thieves.
