Cobham Area Guide
Cobham sits on the banks of the River Mole in Surrey, around 20 miles south-west of London. Long popular with London commuters, the town offers the balance many buyers look for: countryside surroundings, good schools, and a high street that still feels like the centre of daily
life.
The town itself centres on a traditional high street with a mix of independent shops, cafés, and restaurants. Much of Cobham’s appeal comes from the surrounding landscape. The River Mole runs through the area, while open countryside and historic parkland lie just beyond the town.
Much of the housing that shapes the town now arrived during the twentieth century as London expanded, bringing larger houses and new residential areas while the town retained its countryside setting.
