Hélène Darroze: Michelin Starred Dining at The Connaught

There is something unique about all of the Michelin starred restaurants in London, but it is easy to see why some truly stand out. Hélène Darroze at The Connaught is one of those restaurants. Boasting the rare 3 Michelin stars, the restaurant is one of the best in the city and promises to offer diners an unforgettable experience.

An Overall Feast for the Senses

Every detail of the experience at Hélène Darroze at The Connaught has been thoughtfully crafted to enhance the dining journey.

Styled by Pierre Yovanovitch, the look includes blush shades, curved lines and deep velvet and leather seating creating a sumptuous feel from start to finish. The custom-made interior also has a contemporary edge with a blue blown-glass chandelier and exposed wooden tabletops. Even the Michelin guide noted the calibre of the restaurants design, applauding its efforts to evolve and the creation of a warmer, more relaxed atmosphere in which to dine. The review also praised the exquisite food and its steadfast focus on the main ingredient “be it lobster from Cornwall or grouse from Wales” and the “accompanying flavours, including occasional international influences, are used to enhance or italicise it and this results in dishes that stay long in the memory”. They also encouraged guests to ensure they ordered the “signature Baba dessert with a choice of Armagnacs aged by her brother Marc” before leaving.
