Remarkable OWO Residences Apartment, Reimagined by Goddard Littlefair

Taking a more architectural approach with its design, this apartment — unfolding across three bedrooms and a study — leans into structure, geometry and shadow rather than lightness, with a sharper, more contained atmosphere throughout. The planning creates clearer moments of definition: a library wall gives the living space a fixed point of gravity, storage and display combined into a single statement, while the dining area is set within its own booth — an arrangement that trades openness for intimacy. Beyond it, a private den offers a further retreat, and the palette across the apartment runs deep: dark timbers, tailored fabrics and burnished metals replacing the softer tones found elsewhere in the building.

The entrance sets the tone immediately — a slender black console beneath an antique gold mirror, grounded by a British racing green rug with a distinctly English geometry underfoot. The reception carries that same weight further, its ivory sofa rising above a jade-toned rug, flanked by tan leather chairs and a bronze-based coffee table. Nearby, the dining table's brass pedestal is matched by a lacquered cabinet finished in gilded chinoiserie, a piece that draws the eye as readily as it serves a purpose.

The den is where the apartment turns fully private — a room built for records and reading, anchored by a leather armchair from a one-off collaboration between Bill Amberg and Goddard Littlefair. The principal bedroom follows suit in a more formal key, its marquetry headboard set into dark timber, bedside pieces in weathered wood catching light from sculptural lamps. Bedroom 2 shifts to something crisper and more contemporary, while Bedroom 3 closes the sequence on its quietest note, a navy headboard paired with an oak chest finished in brass.
