Elie Saab Residences
This beautiful new development by designer Elie Saab is set behind a red-brick Victorian façade. The collection features 15 two and three-bedroom homes, as well as a spectacular duplex penthouse with far-reaching views over Hyde Park.
Externally, the building is characterised by its double-height pilasters, Corinthian capitals, and a decorative cornice. Additions to the building were built using typical red brick and Portland stone cladding in a contemporary way, consistent with the front of the building and the heritage of the overall residential area, making sure the building cleverly blends with the architecture of Bayswater.
Internally, Saab’s signature style is reflected; the common areas have been curated by the designer himself, featuring products from his Maison collection. Bedrooms offer uninterrupted views and vast terraces overlooking the verdant Hyde Park, London’s most iconic green space. In the heritage side of the building, ceilings reach nearly 8ft, allowing plenty of natural light to pour in.
The apartments all feature an exquisite finish with exceptional detailing such as soft-closing cabinetry, heated towel rails, quartz worktops, underfloor heating, and a video-audio door entry system. The building also has convenient lift access, a full-time porter, and thermostatically controlled comfort heating and cooling in all living rooms and bedrooms.
Location-wise, the apartments couldn’t be better. Set on the edge of Hyde Park, in Zone 1, the homes are close to Notting Hill, Marble Arch, and Mayfair. Kensington Palace is a stone’s throw away through the park, as is High Street Kensington. The area is close to the best restaurants and shopping that London has to offer, and Bayswater itself has recently undergone a £3bn transformation, making it the capital’s hotspot for high-end shops and unparalleled amenities. The apartments are also a 39-minute drive to Heathrow airport, for international travel.
