Amenities
The building has fantastic amenities including a pool, spa, fully equipped gym, cinema room, and full concierge service. Not only that, 9 Millbank is configured around a landscaped courtyard, a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. There is also valet parking and a boardroom available for residents’ use. History
The building has a storied past – 9 Millbank was designed by Sir Frank Baines, chief architect at the British Office of Works. The building was constructed in the early 1920s, as the headquarters of the Imperial Chemical Industries which was, for a long time, the largest manufacturer in Britain. Most of the space in the apartments were directors’ offices and boardrooms, meaning they were accentuated by wonderfully grand details. Today, due to the building’s listed status, these period features like cornicing, decorative plasterwork and panelling have been retained for future generations to enjoy.
