Wentworth Area Guide

Wentworth's reputation as one of Europe's most prestigious residential estates is well over a hundred years in the making. Covering seven square kilometres of rich woodland near Virginia Water, the estate was the vision of master builder W G Tarrant, who secured the development rights in 1922. Tarrant had already built the neighbouring St George's Hill in Weybridge in 1910, but Wentworth was conceived as something distinct, with covenants ensuring a broader range of property sizes and a character entirely its own.

More than a century on, Wentworth remains exactly what Tarrant intended: secluded, secure, and remarkable. Its lush landscape, grand mansions, the world-renowned Wentworth Club and easy access to London have made it one of the most sought-after addresses in the country.
